I created these illustrations in Photoshop for a short animation. The client wanted a simple, clean style that looked hand-drawn. This style moves fast and creates a clear hierarchy without being complicated.

In this project I worked alongside one other illustrator who was pencilling the illustrations. My job was to ink the drawings in the specific “Red Bull” style as well as use a traditional-looking marker/watercolor approach with the color.

These illustrations were for a Guardian Insurance website where users could navigate an illustrated map that showed different stages of planning for retirement. I illustrated the map and characters as well created animated sprites of the characters walking.
